Well before it was a popular name I have always LOVED the name. What's neat is my aunt Nina had a dream once of seeing our baby girl and her name was Isabella! For the past many years that name is the name that has stuck in my head when I have thought about a baby girl! So I talked it over with Jim and found he really liked it too and thought it would be a great name! What I LOVE most about her name is the meaning of it....when looking up the meaning of Isabella, this is what I found...
God’s promise…devoted to God…consecrated to God…set apart… beautiful…God is my oath…my God is bountiful…
Such a beautiful meaning for such a beautiful girl that we have not met yet but already love! It's amazing how much love we already have for her even though we haven't met her or even seen a picture of her! Lord willing, hopefully within the next two months or so, we will be able to get our referral and have an actual picture and some information about our precious baby! We plan on leaving her african name as her middle name but who knows if we end up liking her african name so much we might just leave it and have Isabella as the middle name!

Mommy and Daddy love you so much already! We are praying for you every day and praying that soon in God's beautiful timing He will lead us and bring us to you and we will be united as a family! We already long for the day we see you and get to start being your mommy and daddy! Sweet Isabella, you are loved, so very loved and not just by us but most of all by your heavenly Father! He loves you with an everlasting love and has beautiful plans for you Isabella!

ReplyDeleteaww...mom you brought tears to my eyes as I read your comment! I cannot wait until the day either! It will feel so good to hold her in my arms for the first time...i have a feeling I won't be able to stop crying or praising God for a very long time! God knows how long Jim and I have wanted to be parents, God knows the pain we went through with each miscarriage and the four years of waiting but it will all be worth it when I hold her in my arms and tell her how much I love her and most of all how much Jesus loves her! I cannot wait until the first time that I can hug you mom, with Isabella in my arms and we all embrace for the first time...knowing all the times you held me as I cried for my lost children or all the phone calls because I was so tired of waiting ... God was working in me and Jim through those times and He used you SO MANY times to comfort my soul and so I cannot wait to see you hold your grand daughter for the first time! I'm crying just thinking about it!
