If you haven't heard yet.....

.... WE.....ARE.....ON.....THE.....WAITING.....LIST!  

We actually found out on May 12th and our approval date and the official day we got on the waiting list is May 12th but we were at church when we got the news and then after that we were so busy that we are just now having the time to write about it on our blog!  I posted a short little bit about it on Thursday on facebook and we got flooded with comments from you all, THANKS SO MUCH!

We of course are SO excited and it's almost hard to think that the paperchase is over, the home study is done, the medical statements are signed, the agreements are notarized, the goverment has our fingerprints, we have went through training, read books, written paragraphs upon paragraphs of our answers to all their questions, gotten CPR certified, went to the post office so much we seem to know the people much better now that work there, all the researching, searching for an agency, talking and emailing countless times with our agency and social worker and so much and we are FINALLY on the waiting list!  Yet, I think the most amazing thing through this is seeing God work and confirm it OVER and OVER again to us.  Never did we actually think we could somehow come up with the money, we just simply knew we couldn't do it and so God showed us we couldn't but that He could, even more than we could imagine!  Ephesians 3:20!

So we are on the list, we are circulated and our profile will start being shown to potential birthmothers!  Once they actually get our profile up on their website, i'll let you all know and do a little post with a link to it!

So now we WAIT!  We have waited before, we waited 4 1/2 years to become parents and went through so much trying, so many medical tests and drugs and so many doctors including a trip to Chicago to see a specialist, we went through losing four precious babies. So we know about waiting BUT this waiting is DIFFERENT!  This is filled with hope, with excitement and so we wait!  While we're waiting...here a few things we need to still do or want to do...

~Focus on God and continue to draw close to Him and fall in love with Him more and more each day!
~Try and actually get the nursery ready.  We only have a bassinet and I ordered the crib bedding but it's not in yet so we still have LOTS to do to get the nursery done! 
~Have our last two fundraisers which is the Yard sale coming up next weekend (20th-22nd) and the 80's dance party benefit our friend is throwing for us on June 5th!  Needing to save up the last bit we need for birth mother expenses!
~Have our first baby shower that is the friends/church one on June 12th!  So excited for this!

HOW EXCITING!  We are actually in the stage where all we do is wait for the call!  WOW!  Please continue to pray for us, our little one, the birth mom and the whole situation!  Through it all, may God get all the glory for He is so good!
