First laugh...

Yesterday we had a WONDERFUL day together.  Jim's eye was causing him extreme pain the night before and he cannot mess with his eyes because of some surgeries he had with them as a child and so he took the day off to go to the doctor and so after Isaac and I got back from his two month check-up and Jim got back from his eye doctor appointment, we spent the rest of the day together as a family and had such a great time!  Too bad we couldn't stay home together everyday, we truly LOVE being with each other!  We sat around together holding and playing with Isaac and Isaac was in such a great mood, which amazed me since the little guy just got a shot that morning.  We just bought a blender too and so we've been making lots of healthy smoothies that are super yummy!

I was holding Isaac and Jim would lean in and kiss him and make this cute noise as he was coming in and Isaac LOVED it and gave many adorable faces, coos and smiles and then it happened...he laughed for the first time at daddy and it melted our hearts.  It was this adorable chuckle like huck, huck, huck and unfortunately we did not get it on video but I know here in the coming months he will start laughing and it will get bigger and more giggly and we will get plenty of videos then!  So of course Isaac made daddy and mommy's day yesterday with that first laugh of his!  Amazed that he is not two months until tomorrow (well when most of you are reading this, it will be today for you) and already gave us his first little laugh!  We are so blessed!

Even though we didn't get any video we did get some cute pictures of him as we were playing with him yesterday!  Enjoy and let me just say HAPPY TWO MONTHS to our precious little son that God gave to us! We are so in love and forever grateful to God for you Isaac James!
