Babies home!

Through a friend we have met on this adoption journey, we were introduced to Pastor Chris and his wife Agnes of Love Works International !  They started a non-profit organization to help the orphans over in Uganda.  Currently they have a school for children called New Hope primary school and are almost finished building their babies home that Agnes will be in charge of!  This babies home will most likely be where Isabella comes from.  They are almost done and are hoping to be finished by the end of April and then will start taking in and rescuing orphans.  The babies home will hold around 20-25 babies at a time.  We are first on their list I believe for a baby girl! We are so excited!  They are such wonderful people. They are doing AMAZING things for Uganda.

Their main goal is to preach the gospel!  Many other goals they have listed are training christians in ministry and skills, provide and promote bible education, to establish vocational and technical schools to help equip ugandans with skills because the drop-out rate in Uganda is increasing due to poverty.  To help those living with HIV and to teach others about prevention.  To train and send out pastors to start more churches in Uganda and to provide welfare for widows, orphans and the poor following James 1:27.

Here are some pictures of Aggie's (Agnes) babies home that is under construction!

The babies home is meant to have running water and electricity. Sometimes both of those are unavailable for various reasons, like a quick power outage, etc. Its common here. So, the small brick building to the left of the home is an outside kitchen and an outhouse will be nearby also, just in case that scenario occurs.

This is the beautiful land and animals surrounding the babies home and New Hope school!

This is a close-up of Agnes in the babies home hallway. She requested this picture be taken for us, which I thought was sweet! She is at the very back of the babies home, and you can see the hallway all the way to the kitchen, dining and reception rooms. In the hallway are four bedrooms and two play rooms.

This is Agnes and one of the workers outside the babies home as it is still under construction!

We are so excited to meet them and most of all meet our daughter hopefully within the next 3-6 months!  We are in a period right now of waiting!  We are hoping that soon after they finish the babies home we will receive our referral and find out who Isabella is and what she looks like!

If you've ever wanted to help orphans or a third world country but never knew for sure how or wanted to make for sure your money was actually going to the right people, this is a great place to support!  You can contact them through their website www.loveworksintl.org and send in $25 a month to sponser a child.  You could send a one-time donation or they also have where you can have your children/classroom become penpals with their children in the schools there!  How awesome is that!  Most of all please be praying for Chris and Agnes and this organization and for the babies home to be finished soon without any problems for them!
