Mothers/Fathers Day....

We have been so busy lately, which is a good thing, that I have not had the chance to post pictures yet from Mother's Day or Father's Day. This year was our second year celebrating these special days as a family. We love the fact that Isaac was actually born on Father's day, the year that he was born!

Jim totally melted my heart with what he did for me on mother's day. I woke up and came downstairs to find this little set of stuff on the counter. It included a homemade card by Isaac and him with a poem and flowers along with the most adorable video ever of Isaac and daddy saying happy mommy's day to me and blowing me kisses. He then later that day made the most amazing (seriously he could be a chef) homemade yummy white cream wine sauce over tortellini and had bread that was dipped in oil and herbs...oh my, I'm salivated just thinking of it again! Anyways, LOVED it and felt VERY loved and special on that day. Here are some pictures from it...

Now let's move on to Father's day! Isaac was such a good boy with letting me paint his hands and feet so we could make prints for daddy. He LOVED it and so did daddy! Jim absolutely LOVES the zoo, seriously, like as much or more than a kid. His request last year and this year for Father's day was going there so that is what we did and we had a great time together!
